Stamford Hospital Foundation’s annual events are indeed special – entertaining and lively gatherings that make philanthropy fun!  You’ll see familiar faces and make new friends when you join the growing community of individuals, corporations, foundations and community organizations who celebrate and support the Hospital’s mission in this way.  There are many ways to participate:

The annual Dream Ball Gala each fall is an evening of celebration and fundraising held to help realize the dream of a healthy community now and for generations to come. The event, held at the Tully Health Center, includes dinner, dancing, a silent auction and Giving Tree to benefit programs and services throughout Stamford Hospital.

The Corporate Golf Invitational in the spring is a day of golf, competition, and fund raising for Stamford Hospital's Bennett Cancer Center's cancer research programs and services.  Proceeds from the annual golf outing help to fund innovative research programs and offer cutting edge resources for the community.

Every June, Hope In Motion hosts our signature event, Walk, Run, Ride, one of Fairfield County's largest and longest running participant fund raising events. Over 4500 participants, come together in downtown Stamford to celebrate life, comfort those living with cancer, honor survivors and remember those who lost their battle with cancer. The event includes a 10-, 20- or 50-mile bike ride, a 5K timed run, and a 5K walk. Participants gather in the park for refreshments, music, free gifts from sponsors, demonstrations and family fun activities and raise dollars to support Stamford Hospital's Bennett Cancer Center.

Club Chefs of Connecticut consists of executive chefs and sous chefs from the state and Westchester County.  A nonprofit organization, Club Chefs focuses on networking and philanthropy.

Since 1999, the Club Chefs of CT have put their “best dish forward” in an annual gourmet showcase to benefit Stamford Hospital’s David’s Treasure Tree toy closet.  This annual event is held the 1st Monday after Thanksgiving.
